Concession Work Duty Agreement for House, U5 Coed, and U6 Coed Leagues

For each player registering to play in the House Baseball, House Softball, U5 Coed, or U6 Coed Leagues, one adult (18 years or older), must choose to either work one (1) Concession Work Duty shift OR buy out of the shift. The Team Manager (Head Coach) is exempt and does not have to work or buy out. **Assistant coaches are NOT exempt.

Option 1: $175 per child buy out of Concession Work Duty.
With this option you will pay an additional $175 fee per child registering to play House Baseball, House Softball, U5 Coed, and/or U6 Coed Leagues at AfftonAA. This must be paid for at the time of your online registration. You will be exempt from working any Concession Work Duty shifts through the 2027 season. This option is NOT be available after initial registration is completed.

Option 2: Concession Work Duty - 1 per child registered.

A $250 Concession Work Duty deposit check per child registered (separate checks for each child) is required. Please post-date these checks to 4/5/2027, the official start date of our season. This must be mailed to the AfftonAA field office as soon as possible to be fully registered:

Please note:

• The child will not be allowed to play until the Concession Work Duty deposit is received.
• Concession Work Duty shifts are limited and will be available online by 3/9/2027. Each family must schedule one shift per registered player. You will be emailed a link from signup.com to sign up for your Concession Work Duty shift. If you do not choose your own shift by the 4/5/2027 deadline, AfftonAA will assign a shift for you and all rescheduling options (listed below) will apply.
  • If you need a change in your scheduled Concession Work Duty date/time, a 7-day notice is necessary, and you must pay a $25 fee. (Credit or debit card phoned to the field office before you can choose another date and time.) With this option, you will be able to choose your date and time pending availability by AfftonAA.
• Checks are returned after the completion of Concession Work Duty. If you do not report for your Concession Work Duty, your check will be cashed. If your shift is rained out, your shift will be rescheduled no additional fees.
• AfftonAA reserves the right to cancel and reschedule any shift at any time.
